Back before school started, Chiki had a weekday off ... so we decided to check out the race track in Del Mar. The season only lasts from July through September, running everyday but Mondays and Tuesdays.
Although Chiki & I didn't place any bets, we still had a great time. As for the kids, we loaded them down with snacks and so of course they also had a great time!

Isn't this race track pretty? It was my uncles favorite place to race. Did you wear cool hats? :)
